We don't mind showing our hometown spirit, because we're Rockwall proud! By working together, we're making Rockwall a No Kill Community. On Monday August 15, 2011, the Rockwall City Council voted unanimously to make our open-admission municipal shelter a No Kill facility by mandating a "live outcome" rate of 90% or better. That means we adopt, return to owner or save at least 90% of all the pets we shelter in Rockwall.

The other 10% or less are gravely ill or extremely aggressive pets that we're not able to save. But our goal at Rockwall Pets is to save every life we possibly can. How are we doing so far? Here are the statistics from Rockwall Animal Services:
